Job Summary

The Immigration Case Worker will play a key role in supporting clients through their Canadian immigration journey. This position involves assessing eligibility, compiling robust application packages, and ensuring strict compliance with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) guidelines. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both temporary visa streams and economic/family PR pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Preparation: Compile, review, and finalize a high volume of applications for both Temporary Residence (Visitor Visas, Super Visas, PGWPs, Study Permits, TRV Stamping) and Permanent Residence (Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP), and Spousal/Family Class Sponsorships).

  • Document Management: Collect, organize, and thoroughly verify supporting client documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to submission.

  • Client Communication: Act as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing clear instructions on document requirements, answering procedural questions, and delivering case updates.

  • Portal Management: Efficiently utilize IRCC portals (Authorized Representative Portal, PR Portal) to submit applications and monitor processing timelines.

  • Compliance: Stay up to date with changing IRCC policies, ministerial instructions, and operational guidelines to ensure all submissions meet current legal standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of direct experience processing Canadian immigration applications (experience with both TR and PR streams is highly preferred).

  • Knowledge Base: Strong foundational understanding of IRCC regulations, Express Entry streams, PNP criteria, and temporary resident visa processes.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English to confidently interact with clients and draft submission letters.

  • Core Skills: Uncompromising attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and the ability to manage multiple files under tight deadlines.

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and standard immigration case management software.
